We flew in to and out of Las Vegas. Our first night, we stayed at the Trump Hotel, which is, as far as I could tell, the only hotel in Las Vegas without a Casino. Even the IHOP had a casino attached.
After our week-long tour of the canyon region, we stayed at The Mirage because we had tickets to see the Cirque du Soleil “The Beattles – Love”. What a fabulous show.
I took a couple photo walks of the “Vegas Strip” both nights we stayed there to experience and photograph the extravaganza that is “Vegas.” Â
The Stratosphere Tower has a mini amusement park on top, with free-fall rides, and a little ride that swings you out over the edge.  In this video that I shot from our hotel room in the Trump Hotel, you can see the ride that has you rolling down a car over the edge of the tower, and another thrill seeker taking the dive from the 829 feet (109 stories) above the ground.
