I got a later start on Sunday than expected, because I was actually considering calling the whole trip off due to a cold front coming down from Canada. One of the goals of my trip was to catch the sunrises and sunsets whenever possible. So as I saw that dusk was approaching, I searched Google Maps for an upcoming scenic overlook. This overlook at Green Ridge State Forest Park (map link) popped up. The walk from the parking lot to the wood platform overlooking the valley was short, and the view was stunning. The foliage was beautiful, and then, by chance, the sunset was … well, see for yourself.
